World Elders Day 2012 : Towards Healthy Aging

On occasion of International Day of Older Person (IDOP) 2012 , Silver Inning Foundation an NGO working with Senior Citizens and their Family members in association with it Networking Partner’s is Honored to presents various events in its 5^th Edition of World Elders Day.

Date: Sunday 30^th Sep 2012:

‘Free General Medical Camp for Senior Citizens’ at Pimpripada, Kurar village, Malad East , Mumbai ; Organized by Silver Inning Foundation & YWCA in association with Mahavir clinic (Malad) ,Thatikonda Vatsala Ramchandra Foundation & Students of Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Nirmala Niketan College of Social Science.

Venue: Queen's Mary school, Pimpripada

Time: 10am to 1pm

Date: Monday 1^st Oct 2012:

‘Entertainment Program & ‘UMNAG’  Talent Show’ Organized by Dept of Human Development & Students of SVT College of Home Science, SNDT University , Juhu , Mumbai in association with Silver Inning Foundation for Residents of Kisangaopal Rajpuria Vanprasathasram (Old Age Home).

Venue: Kisangaopal Rajpuria Vanprasathasram (Old Age Home), Uttan , Bhayandar West , Near Mumbai 

Time: 10.30am to 12.30 pm

Sunday 7^th Oct 2012:

On the occasion of World Elders Day & WHO ‘Active & Healthy Ageing Theme’ for year 2012, ‘Sanjeevni’ an NGO promoted by MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik in association with ‘Silver Inning Foundation’ organizes ‘A Stage Talent Show program for Senior Citizens’. As there are not enough opportunity for elderly to show their talent, the main purpose of this program is to provide a platform for Elderly to display their talents. Every Year since 2008 , Silver Inning Foundation, a dedicated NGO for Elders, celebrates ‘World Elders Day’ by presenting ‘UMANG’ , A Senior Citizens Stage Talent Show.

Venue: Banquet Hall , Maxus Mall , Bhayandar west , Near Mumbai
