I so agree. In fact old age homes may be dangerous in the near future. As an author & marriage and family counselor I wanted to come up with a way to tell this truth to families. I devised the plot in my suspense book Directive 99. The only problem is it may soon become a reality. How sad for families, what a loss to society. Dr. Judith Rolfls www.judithrolfs.com

This depends mostly on how well your parent is and how you're able to cope with the circumstances. Nursing homes are perfect for elderly individuals who require 24-hour medical attention, while senior day care institutions are perfect for people who will need medical overseeing during the day time. Excellent post ! I do agree that old age homes are not the solutions for the senior citizens. Instead some organizations can be created which would make them to spend their valuable time.

The traditional elderly home care is nowadays transferred from family to organizations.
Old age homes in India were started as a way out for these difficulties faced by aged people. A lot of organizations provide age care services with ample facilities to look after old people.
